Artists Don't Work for Free?
In a startling revelation, lots of exposure doesn't pay the bills for artists, and Google seems a bit shocked by this: New York Times Article. This is a subject near and dear to sketch collectors, as we've seen more and more artists leaving official sets due to low pay and/or unprofessional practices. Now, I don't blame Google for trying really, but it is odd that they seemed a bit taken back by it. (Thanks to Dane Ault for the link via Twitter.) |
